Masan Baseball Stadium is a baseball venue located in Changwon (former Masan area), South Korea. It was once the home stadium of the NC Dinos before the team moved to Changwon NC Park in 2019. The stadium has a capacity of around 11,000 spectators and is known for its compact, old-school Korean baseball atmosphere. Opened in the early 1980s, it played an important role in the development of professional baseball in the region. Today, it is mainly used for lower-level games, training, and occasional events, but it remains a symbolic venue in KBO history.

History of the stadium

Masan Baseball Stadium opened in 1982 and became one of the key baseball venues in southern South Korea. It served for many years as a regional sports hub before becoming the home of the NC Dinos during their early KBO League period. The stadium hosted professional games until 2018–2019, when the team moved to the modern Changwon NC Park. Since then, it has been used for amateur matches, training sessions, and local competitions. Its history is closely tied to the growth of baseball in the Changwon–Masan region.

The name “Masan Baseball Stadium” comes directly from its original location in the former city of Masan, which was later merged into Changwon. The name reflects its geographic identity rather than any corporate sponsorship. Even after administrative changes, the stadium has retained its original name, preserving its historical connection to the Masan region and its baseball heritage.
