Juventus Stadium (Allianz Stadium) in Turin is Italy’s first club-owned UEFA Category 4 venue, seating 41,507. Opened in 2011 on the old Stadio delle Alpi site, it features sky-boxes, eco‑friendly systems, integrated museum and medical centre, and hosts Juventus matches, Europa League finals, and rugby internationals.
Juventus Stadium, branded as Allianz Stadium since 2017, opened on September 8, 2011, on the site of the old Stadio delle Alpi in Turin. It was built by Juventus FC with a construction cost of approximately €155 million, making it the first modern, club-owned football stadium in Italy.
The all-seater stadium has a capacity of 41,507 spectators, making it one of the top six stadiums by seating in Italy. Built to UEFA Category 4 standards, it features a natural grass pitch (105 × 68 m), a steep, intimate bowl, 64 sky-boxes, and parking for around 4,000 cars as well as conference and commercial spaces.
Juventus Stadium is a postmodern, eco-friendly design by Hernando Suárez and Gino Zavanella. It includes two 86‑m pylons supporting the roof, photovoltaic panels, advanced floodlighting, retail and hospitality areas underneath the stands, and direct access to the J-Museum and J-Medical Centre as part of the J-Village complex.
Allianz is a global insurance and financial services company. Since July 2017, it holds the stadium’s naming rights under a sponsorship deal lasting until 2030, aligning with Juventus’s brand and enhancing its commercial infrastructure.
The stadium’s record attendance exceeded 41,507 for major matches. It hosted the 2014 UEFA Europa League Final and was Italy’s first UEFA Category 4 stadium. It is regularly over 90 % full during Serie A seasons, and occasionally hosts rugby internationals, notably earning praise for its crowd atmosphere during Italy vs All Blacks in 2024.
Parking for about 4,000 cars is available under the stadium and in the J-Village area; additional lots nearby also serve the venue.
