It serves as the home ground of Beşiktaş J.K. and opened in 2016 on the site of the former BJK İnönü Stadium. Beşiktaş Stadium opened on 11 April 2016 in the Beşiktaş district of Istanbul. It was constructed on the site of the former BJK İnönü Stadium, which had served as the club’s home ground for decades before being demolished. The new stadium was developed to provide a modern, football-specific venue for Beşiktaş J.K.
While commonly referred to as Beşiktaş Stadium or Beşiktaş Park, the venue is currently styled as Tüpraş Stadyumu for sponsorship reasons. The stadium has previously been known under sponsored names since its opening.
The stadium features a continuous all-seater bowl with seating surrounding the pitch, designed for clear sightlines and strong crowd engagement. The structure includes modern fan amenities, executive suites and hospitality areas, making it suitable for both domestic and international matches.
Beşiktaş Stadium has a seating capacity of around 42,600 spectators. Facilities include covered stands, VIP lounges, hospitality zones and media facilities to support top-level competition and fan experience.
The stadium serves as the home ground of Beşiktaş J.K., hosting Süper Lig matches and European competition fixtures. It also hosted the 2019 UEFA Super Cup and has been selected as the venue for major finals in UEFA competitions.
