Beşiktaş Stadium opened on 11 April 2016 in the Beşiktaş district of Istanbul. It was constructed on the site of the former BJK İnönü Stadium, which had served as the club’s home ground for decades before being demolished. The new stadium was developed to provide a modern, football-specific venue for Beşiktaş J.K.
Name and sponsorship
While commonly referred to as Beşiktaş Stadium or Beşiktaş Park, the venue is currently styled as Tüpraş Stadyumu for sponsorship reasons. The stadium has previously been known under sponsored names since its opening.
