History of the stadium
Trinity Health Stadium originally opened in 1935 in Hartford, Connecticut. It was previously known as Dillon Stadium and was renamed following a naming rights agreement in 2022. The venue has been used for a variety of sporting and entertainment events throughout its history.
Renovations and modern era
The stadium underwent significant renovation work in 2018–2019 to update its facilities and support contemporary sporting events. These upgrades included changes to seating, surface and infrastructure to better accommodate professional teams and spectators.

The stadium features a rectangular layout suitable for football and soccer matches. Its current capacity is around 5,500 spectators, but it is expandable to approximately 10,000. The surface is FieldTurf, providing a consistent playing field for modern soccer competitions.

Trinity Health Stadium is the home ground of Hartford Athletic, a professional soccer club competing in the USL Championship. It has also hosted other soccer teams, college matches and previously served as a venue for a variety of football and community sporting events. Additional tenants have included teams in lower leagues and select matches for college soccer programs.
