History of Daegu iM Bank Park

Daegu iM Bank Park was inaugurated in March 2019, replacing the oversized Daegu World Cup Stadium. Built to provide a more intimate football experience, the new venue became the official home of Daegu FC and a key symbol of the club’s modern era in the K League.

The stadium features a single-tier bowl design with a total capacity of approximately 12,000. Its steep stands offer excellent sightlines, and the fans are placed close to the pitch for an immersive experience. The modern facade incorporates geometric shapes and LED lighting, giving the stadium a sleek, urban look.

Location and Access

Located in central Daegu, the stadium is easily accessible via public transport, especially the Daemyeong subway station. Its downtown location ensures vibrant surroundings with shops, cafes, and easy post-game access for fans.

Origin of the Name

The stadium’s name originates from its title sponsor, DGB Daegu Bank, which later rebranded to iM Bank. The name reflects both the regional roots of Daegu FC and its strong local business partnerships.
