About this place

History

Antalya Stadium, officially branded as Corendon Airlines Park since 2022, opened on October 26, 2015, in Antalya, Turkey. Built between June 2013 and 2015 to replace the smaller Akdeniz University Stadium, it was designed by AZ Aksu and constructed by Akay İnşaat at a cost of around ₺103 million ($53 million in 2013).

Description

The all-seater venue holds approximately 32,537 spectators and features a natural grass pitch measuring 105 × 68 m. The structure combines a rectangular playing surface within a circular bowl, with completely covered seating and four-tiered end stands.

Architectural Features

Unique elements include triple upper-tier galleries behind the goals, a fully covered 16,000 m² roof clad in weathered steel, and embedded photovoltaic panels supplying roughly 7,200 kWh daily—making it Turkey’s first solar-powered stadium. The southern end offers sea views across the Mediterranean.
