About the Building
Inaugurated in 1972, the Louvier stadium was modernized between 2003 and 2005. During this period, the stadium was entirely renovated. A new sitting and covered stand was erected in front of the old stand. The two bleachers behind the goalposts were roofed.
Until 2009, the stadium was occupied by the Royale Association Athlétique Louviéroise, the historical club of the city of La Louvière. Since the disappearance of RAAL in 2009, several sports formations have cohabited at the Tivoli, including FC La Louvière and UR La Louvière Centre. If the latter still uses the premises, they are now shared with the new RAAL, the neighboring club created in 2017.
