Estadio Inca Garcilaso de la Vega, also called Estadio Garcilaso, was inaugurated in 1958 in Cusco, Peru. Named after the mestizo writer Inca Garcilaso de la Vega, it originally held around 22,000 spectators. In 2004, the stadium was extensively renovated for Copa América—including the installation of new seating, removal of the athletics track, and upgraded pitch—raising capacity to approximately 42,056.
