Who is Mario Rigamonti?
Mario Rigamonti was an Italian international footballer born on December 17, 1922 in Brescia and died on May 4, 1949 in Superga. He played as a defender/defensive midfielder. He began his career with AC Torino in 1941. He was loaned out to Brescia Calcio for the 1943-1944 season, then to AC Lecco in 1944. Returning to Torino in 1945, he won four consecutive Italian Championship titles. He died in a plane crash on May 4, 1949. In all, Rigamonti made 104 appearances and scored one goal in the Italian top flight.
