The Moselstadion is a multifunctional stadium located in Trier, Germany. The soccer club Eintracht Trier plays its home games in this stadium.

Owner

  • Municipality of Trier

The stadium was inaugurated in 1930 under the name “Auf der d’Ham” and after the Second World War took on its present name. In 1998, during the German Cup match against MSV Duisburg, the lighting was installed.

The club’s rise to the second division in 2002 required extensive upgrading work. The main stand was also extended and a clubhouse was built under the right stand. The increase in the number of spectators and the insufficient safety standards of the stadium led to numerous discussions on the need to expand the stadium or to rebuild it.

The successive descents to the regional level postponed any new construction project.

  • Registered as a "historical monument in Germany"
