The Cornèr Arena - originally called Resega until May 2018 - is an ice rink in Lugano, Switzerland.

Owner

  • City of Lugano

It was opened in 1957, then demolished to make way for the current Resega in 1995. During the construction phase, HC Lugano played for two seasons on the adjacent rink, the Reseghina, which had a capacity of 2,500.

It is the home of the ice hockey team HC Lugano of the NL and property of the city of Lugano. The rink has a capacity of 6,733 spectators. Initially 8,250, the capacity was reduced following the transformation, on request of various fan clubs and ultras gathered via a petition, in order to create the Pat Schafhauser stand, a stand specially designed for people with reduced mobility.
